High Wycombe

So I have finally arrived in my destination for the week. To get here I have travelled by coach from Karachaevsk to Krasnodar, flown from Krasnodar to Stansted via Istanbul, then driven from Stansted to Stansted via Sevenoaks in Kent, and Birmingham in the West Midlands (a round trip of about 350 miles), and have had a final coach journey from Stansted to High Wycombe. Since landing in the UK every time I have arrived in a new destination it has been pouring with rain!
This morning though it was not pouring with rain, (at least not yet!) and I have managed to get up early and run a few kilometers. I have enjoyed the Travel Lodge’s best cooked breakfast (bacon, sausage, beans, etc) and am nearly ready to face the day. The view from my hotel room is not very inspiring but offers unrivalled views of High Wycombe’s loading bays and Sainsbury’s supermarket…
