A lack of mountain…

We’ve had a lightening 24 hour trip to visit some of Ali’s old friends in a city 3 or four hours away. The people there think that they live in the North Caucasus. They don’t! I can tell because the North Caucasus is a chain of high mountains, and when you look around the city it’s completely flat. I think that they claim to be in the North Caucasus because on a clear day that can see the top of Mt Elbrus…
